DinoRoam Privacy Policy

DinoRoam helps people discover events, save ideas, personalize recommendations, and use a consent-first companion experience. This policy explains what information DinoRoam collects and how it is used.

Information We Collect

• Account information when you sign in, such as your name, email address, profile photo, and authentication identifier from Google or Firebase Authentication.
• App activity, such as saved events, preference tags, chat requests, feedback, profile settings, invitation activity, and interaction history.
• Approximate location or neighborhood information when you provide it or grant location access, so DinoRoam can suggest nearby events and places.
• Device, browser, and diagnostic information, including logs, error reports, request metadata, and security signals used to operate and protect the service.
• Purchase status or subscription entitlement information if paid features are offered through an app store or payment provider.
• Step-count or health-related activity only when you grant platform permission for features that use walking progress. DinoRoam does not sell health data.

How We Use Information

• To provide DinoRoam features, including event discovery, saved plans, profile sync, companion responses, and personalized recommendations.
• To keep your account, saved events, preferences, and activity available across devices.
• To improve recommendation quality, debug issues, measure reliability, prevent abuse, and maintain service security.
• To process purchases, subscriptions, or entitlements when those features are available.
• To comply with legal, safety, platform, and app review requirements.

AI Features

DinoRoam may use AI systems to understand requests, summarize preferences, and recommend events or plans. Do not submit private, sensitive, illegal, harmful, emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical information. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong, and event details can change.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate DinoRoam, such as Firebase, Google Cloud, analytics, hosting, authentication, app store, payment, logging, and AI infrastructure providers. We may disclose information if required for legal, safety, fraud prevention, or abuse response reasons.

Consent-First Social Features

DinoRoam may suggest possible social introductions or event buddies. Names, contact details, and private profile information should not be revealed to another person until both people opt in.

Your Choices

• You can choose whether to sign in with Google, Apple, or email when those options are available.
• You can change browser, device, location, microphone, speech, motion, and health permissions in your system settings.
• You can update your DinoRoam preferences in the app.
• You can delete your DinoRoam account in the app from Profile, Account, Delete account. Deletion removes your cloud profile, saved events, chat history, Dino Room state, and account record.
• If you cannot access the app, you can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data by contacting us from the email address tied to your account.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide DinoRoam, maintain security, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and support account recovery or deletion requests. We may retain limited logs and backups for a reasonable period.

Children

DinoRoam is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy as DinoRoam changes. We will update the effective date when we make material changes.
